Entire Orly nail polish stock is $2.99 in Sally's

Ladies, if you have Sally's beauty supply near you, I strongly advise you to go check their Orly polishes out.
They have a promo going on now and ANY ORLY polish is just $2.99.

Even those babes from their new collection

Nude one is Pure porcelain and teal one is Sapphire Silk

And this is how Sapphire Silk looks like on (sorry for a blurry picture, but this one made the most justice to the color - but its still a tad lighter in real life)

Ladies, I have decided to start hurt my hair again and get myself a flat iron.

As I don't plan to use it often I think I will be just fine with a drugstore one (if you can say so about a flat iron), ie  something that doesn't cost more than $50.

So I've picked Remington Shine or Frizz therapy - the one that infuses your hair with oils.
I've actually used this one once and  had a feeling it was much more drying then a high-end iron I was using 3 years ago. Or is that because I forgot what a flat iron does to hair?
Please, please give me your advise on this one. I don't want to fry my hair or through money away on something that doesn't work.
Or do you think its better for my hair to splurge on a more expensive one?
If you have any other suggestions I will be more then grateful.

What's in my mail

Seriously! You should see my face when I find a new box by my door or see a UPS truck park by my house! The best ones are the ones that my parents and sister send me! To be honest I don't care what's in those ones- the box can be filled with paper - I will be just as happy, because I know just a few days ago my mom touched and packed it!

But this time I am going to share with you my Origins purchase. I actually begin to like online shopping over an in-store one.
It's four times more trill. First - you get to choose what you want without ever present SA (I don't find them necessary - I never got any useful help from one - colors never matched products never fit my skin and it makes me want to get done with a purchase just to make her go away. The lucky exclusion is Sephora SA - they remind me of fairies - appear when you need them, help and vanish right away. Second - the thrill of a purchase. Third -when you get your tracking number. Now you know that your preeeeeecious is on its way to you. And the forth - when you actually open the box.

So let's see what's inside this one:

Can't wait to use each and every single one of them. And Peace of Mind is said to help with migraines  - if it really does that would be amazing!

Stay tuned for the reviews!

And the winner is....

Thank you so much everyone who took part in my giveaway!

To be honest I would have loved to send each and everyone a little prize as most girls who entered it are actually frequent guests on my page.

But this time I only have one prize and it goes to someone who was 6th to comment

Congratulations, Supergirl!
By the way, she has an amazing blog , go check it out and if you are not following her already you definitely should :)))))

To be honest, I enjoyed hosting this giveaway  more than I enjoy taking part in other girls' contests. So chances are I might try to save up for another one.

Review: Yes to Tomatoes daily clarifying cleancer

*originally this post was waaay longer as I rambled on about my journey to a clear skin in about 5miles long text. But don't worry - now it's down to 3 miles ;)*

*Renee: review, review, focus!*

So, let's start, shall we?

Basically, it's a clear SCENTED gel formulated with tomatoes (who could have guessed!), watermelon and red tea extracts. Has no parabens, petroleum and SLS in it. And what is more important is CRUELTY FREE.

Yes to Tomatoes is formulated to clear up your complexion and it surely does! I've watched my break outs go from moderate and severe in the specific part of the month to mild and then occasional in about 3 weeks.

I think it works great for oily and combination skin as it seems to restore natural oil levels without being drying.

What is special about this cleanser is that you can realize how clean your face is. You see, when you apply it in the evening over makeup it just won't foam. Just work it through and let it melt away the foundation, wash it off and repeat.
When your face is clean on the surface the gel starts foaming up, meaning that now it's cleaning on a deeper level.

What I don't like is that it has a scent to it and a rather strong one. I was afraid it would break me out as my skin is highly intolerant to any fragrance added to skincare (so is my allergies). But nope, false alarm - no skin or sinus reactions so I guess I just have to bare with it. And I also think that the consistency of Yes to tomatoes gel is a bit too runny for such a type of a tube. Amount that is enough for a couple of washes ends up leaking out in the cap.

I cant say whether its better or worse than Korres White Tea cleanser as I was using them during different skin and weather conditions.

But stay tuned for another HG cleanser review, as my skin gets used to it and it slowly stops working as good as during the first month.

My newfound love: Gucci Guilty

It's been over 3 years since I came accross a fragrance that made me sniff my wrists every 10 minutes and reapply it 5 times a day not because the smell has worn off but because I can't get enough of it.
Ladies, I present you my new love Gucci Guilty eau de toilette
picture taken from Google Images
This is a very playful and slightly sweet, light and yet deep smell. It keeps opening up for about 4 hours and then fade away I find that for some reason all my favorite perfumes don't last on my skin, but may be that's another reason why I love them, ad I have already said before I love reapplying it =)

It's fruity and oriental at the same time. It also does have some strong floral notes but they don't bother me (as I am not a floral person I find that many of those scents give me a headache).
This is what Sephora says:

Made for the woman who shatters expectations, this fragrance imbues a feeling of power, a sense that she can attain whatever she wants—even the thrill of the forbidden. A sheer, floral-oriental fragrance, it opens with a bright burst of citrus and a dangerous hint of black pepper. This arresting introduction gives way to full-throttle femininity as its heart pulses with fruity and floral notes. The fragrance dries down to a rich, ambery base with notes of patchouli. The overall effect is young, stylish, and eminently wearable—a daring edge of sexiness and sensuality that captures the essence of Gucci.

Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Peach, Lilac, Geranium, Amber, Patchouli.
Daring. Rich. Sexy.

To be honest I don't know how else to describe that. It's just amazing. I loved Gucci II when I was 19, but as I grew up it started lacking something to my liking - well - Guilty totally balances everything in it.

If you happen to share my taste in perfume (which you can see in my perfume collection post), I would say - definitely give it a try or a sniff at least ;)

EOTD feat Dior, Revlon and Korres

One of my closes friends has always been making fun of my way of doing eye-makeup (in a good way), as whatever I seem to do it always turns out pretty much the same - neutral and barely there.

Well, that's true, but I like it like this. So, please enjoy my way of wearing color. That being purple - as it's the only color (except for neutrals) that I wear.

Things I used
A random black pencil eyeliner that I smudged along my upper lash line
Korres Shimmering es in 12S Base applied all over eyelid

Revlon Matte es in 008 Aubergine. It's actually not that pigmented but it works pretty well as I use it for a slight wash of color in my outer V
then I blended it in until there was just slight shading effect left, add mascara (this time it's DiorShow in Black) and voila!
And in direct sunlight it looks like this

Well, my dear O, if you read this - yes, some things never change - I still spend 15 minutes doing my makeup so that looked like I just swiped some powder and mascara and left the house ;)

What's your go-to technique?

Physician's Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

Drugstores are evil! They are! Yesterday I went to CVS just to pick up a solution for my contact lenses. And I did! I went in, grabbed it and went to the register. Without rambling around or checking the new makeup stand!

And guess what? I got $3 off Physician's Formula coupon with my receipt. This made me remember that I also have a $7 one in my purse. And $10 off  means I can get pretty much any their product for free or for a couple of bucks.
So, yes, I went back in. And this is what I chose as a CVS gift (as it cost $9.99) for myself. Plus I got 7 extra bucks for this purchase, so I couldn't go wrong with it anyways

The brush has short synthetic bristles and reminds me of LashBlast  and a new mascara by Maybelline One by One mascara. But I don't have either of them to compare, as these companies test on animals.

The tip is rather bendable but not as much as the Maybelline one (I judge by the YouTube reviews I've seen).

It's organic, cruelty, paraben and chemicals free (which you would be able to read for yourself if blogger showed at least a little love for my picture posting, eghrrrr!!!)
And the results are amazing. I literally said "wow" when I saw my lashes in the mirror (prepare for a million posts of the same pic ;))

And this is just ONE LAYER! (most fellow bloggers know that pictures seldom do justice for a mascara washing away half of its beauty, so you can imagine how great it is in teal life).

Plus, it stays like this whole day and doesn't smudge on the bottom lash line (DiorShow, take notes) and leaves your lashes soft and flexible.

All in all - it's a great mascara, although from the looks of it - I think this kind of formulation will dry out rather fast, but we shall see.

have a great time! bye-bye now
